0-1: James stunner hands Colombia win

The Real Madrid man saw off Canada with a shot from outside of the area after 74 minutes.
James Rodríguez brought his country victory in their friendly against Canada with a superb 74th-minute strike from outside of the area. The goal came from a pass from Quintero to the Real Madrid player, who seconds earlier had been fouled on the edge of the area. James celebrated the goal by hugging national coach Pekerman, whose mother had died the previous day in Buenos Aires.

James came close to opening the scoring at the end of the first half, but was denied with two efforts from distance. Colombia's attacking pressure only bore fruit after 74 minutes following Quintero's pass, which fed the Madrid star to hit the game's decisive goal with a left-footed shot into the net.
