Borussia Dortmund managing directorHans-Joachim has dismissed speculation on a feasible return of Mario
Goetze from Bayern Munich, naming it "completely unrealistic."
Watzke told Saturday's edition of the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung
that Dortmund could not afford Goetze who left Dortmund for Munich
years ago.
"Take a glance at the wage structure of Bayern & of Dortmund.
look - & you know the answer," Watzke said.
Goetze scored Germany's winner against Argentina in the 2014 World
Cup final but has has not managed a full breakthrough in Munich &
is not a regular starter under coach Pep Guardiola.
French media is speculating about a return of Goetze to the 2011 &
2012 champions who have gone through a poor season by their standard
& will have a brand new coach in Thomas Tuchel next season. Dortmund had
Nuri Sahin & Shinji Kagawa return in recent years.
